Any resources for design a slab for a generator?

I've this 10 ton generator and 10 ton fuel tank on a 15'x25' pad.  My primary concern is the torque force from initial startup of this generator on the pad.  Are there any resources for designing a slab for this application?  TIA.

If the engine or turbine driving the generator is on the same pad, the loss of torque in the driving engine will equal the gain of torque in the generator while coming up to speed.  If the pads are separate, then the start up forces will apply a uneven soil pressure to the base of the slab.  Use a 133% of allowable soil presure for this short term edge pressure.

most of this type of equipment are mounted on flexible bushings that allow movement and vibration without transmitting it into the foundation.

You could try the ACI 351.3R-04 publication.  It deals with the design of foundations for dynamic equipment (rotating, reciprocating, impulsive, ect).
