Hi,
I'm designing tank on unbraced legs to seismic and wind load according to UBC 97, the project location is outside US, exactly in middle east region, Could some one help :How can I get the seismic Map of other countries, and all parameters, soil type, wind speed, ..etc.
Thank you.

Laurent.

Laurent,

You will have to obtain design guidance on site-specific input parameters from the host jurisdiction or published research papers. Alternately, you could perform in-situ tests to derive the numbers.

Good Luck,

Jeff

Local codes are the best sources. Most of the countries in that region has their own codes and published atandards. 字串6
