Is "ue" a designation for microstrain ?

I am using a Strainsmart box to capture some data on a fixture.  The software records values in the unit "ue". Please help me identify that and be able to relate it in plain english.

"Yes"--microstrain (presuming that the "u" is in fact a lower-case "mu").
